Navel piercing which is fast, sterile and kind to the skin
Everything that is needed to do a navel piercing comes in a disposable sterile navel piercing kit. It has been developed from a knowledge about asepsis, that is to say techniques to avoid the transmitting of infections. Every component and step in Blomdahl Medical Navel Piercing has been developed to minimise the risk of infection. The sharp needle is well encapsulated in the cassette and disappears into the needle receiver after the piercing - you never have to see the needle!
With the unique, patents pending navel jewellery, the healing is improved. For a navel piercing to heal without problems, the jewellery should be of the correct length. Long enough so that air can circulate but not so long so that it is in the way, allowing it to get caught in ones clothes. Blomdahl Medical's navel jewellery solves this problem. You can easily adjust the length of the navel jewellery by moving the navel jewellery part along the the barbell by pressing the flower disc down. This means that the navel jewellery always has the correct length!
For the best healing, the navel piercing barbell should be used for as long a period as possible. With Blomdahl Medical Navel Piercing you can change the jewellery part without removing the barbell. In the Blomdahl Caring Jewellery range there are many different colours to choose from*.

You should cleanse the piercing twice a day. Use liquid soap and clean running water once a day, for example when showering. Thereafter rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean running water and dry with a kleenex or tops.

Navel Protector & Navel Skin - plasters that protect
During the first period directly after having pierced your navel you should be very careful so that you do not damage it. To make this easier you can use Blomdahl Navel Protector, which is a protective non-woven breathable plaster that you can cover and protect your navel piercing with.
When you are physically active, for example when training or swimming, we recommend that you cover the piercing with Blomdahl Navel Skin. Blomdahl Navel Skin is a water proof protective plaster that hinders bacteria from getting into the newly pierced piercing.
